Mike completed his electrical apprenticeship in the Royal New Zealand Navy, gaining experience in a wide range of ship borne electrical systems such as engine control, power generation, refrigeration/air conditioning, and numerous other electrical control systems. Upon moving on from the RNZN in 2017, Mike joined a well established industrial electrical contractor based in Auckland. Mike gained a number of qualifications including: 

• Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA), 
• New Zealand certificate in Process Control and Automation from the Waikato Institute of Technology, 
• Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE),
• Registered Electrical Inspector.

Mike started MEO4 in March of 2022 has been building ever since.
